Support & FAQ

Questions, bugs, or something that just feels off — we read every message ourselves. Here's how to reach us, and answers to what people ask most.

Contact us

Email support@mesofoundry.com for anything: a bug report, a billing question, a feature request, or help getting set up. Include your account email and, if it’s a bug, what you were doing when it happened — that’s usually enough to reproduce it on our end.

We aim to reply within a couple of business days. There’s no phone line and no chat widget; email keeps a record for both of us and lets us actually dig into the problem instead of reading off a script.

Frequently asked questions

How does the free trial work?

New accounts start on Free. When you want to try Premium — automated progression, cloud sync, deep analytics, everything — start the 14-day free trial from inside the app. The trial runs through the App Store or Google Play: the store asks for a payment method, and after 14 days the subscription continues at $9.99/month or $59.99/year (whichever you picked) unless you turn it off in your store account settings before the trial ends.

What’s the difference between Free and Premium?

Free isn’t a crippled demo — the mesocycle builder (all five goal modes), manual logging, your full history, unlimited custom exercises, up to two saved templates, and basic charts stay fully functional, on a single device, for as long as you use the app. Premium is $9.99/month or $59.99/year and adds automated progression (the next weight, reps, and RIR on every set, the week-over-week ramp, and earned deloads), deeper analytics (e1RM trends, INOL, tonnage/volume), backup and sync across your devices, Lift With Friends, and unlimited templates. If you ever go from Premium back to Free, nothing you built is deleted.

Can I compete with a friend?

Yes — Lift With Friends is a Premium feature. Invite a friend to compete on the same training block, and each of you earns points day by day for hitting your own prescribed targets. You each only ever see your own logged sets; the app shares nothing between you but the derived score itself.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. Training data lives on your device first — logging a set, finishing a workout, and reading your history all work with no connection, including in a gym with no signal. On Premium, that local data also syncs to the cloud whenever you’re back online, so it’s backed up and available on your other devices. On Free, everything is local-only, so it’s worth keeping backups in mind if you ever replace your phone.

Will I lose my progress photos if I get a new phone?

The photos are stored only on your phone and never uploaded, so they don’t move to a new phone or survive a reinstall on their own. What does carry over (on Premium, across devices) is the check-in schedule: a check-in you’ve already completed stays completed, and you’ll be reminded for the next one on time. On the new phone you can add photos back to each past check-in from your phone’s gallery, or retake them.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. It’s your training log. In the app, go to Settings → Your data → Export my data to save everything as a spreadsheet you can open in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. You can import that same file back later.

How do I manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed and managed through the app store you subscribed with (Apple App Store or Google Play), in your store account’s subscription settings, not through us — we never see or store your payment details. A subscription renews automatically until it’s turned off there. If it is, you keep Premium through the end of the period already paid for, then the account moves to Free. Your account and your data stay.

Something’s broken — what do you need from me?

The account email you’re signed in with, your device/OS (e.g. “Pixel 8, Android 15” or “iPhone 15, iOS 18”), and a quick description of what you expected versus what happened. A screenshot helps more often than not. Send it to the support address above.
